Upgrades - no tariffs

Anonymous
Not applicable

Trying to upgrade pay monthly - just want a free phone at the same deal.

I have tried every free phone and they all say "no tariffs available"

Tried chat and got transferred where I just seemed to hang in limbo

Anyone had the same issue?  Are these phones actually available?

(by the way, where did the option to send an email go?)

I'm fast losing faith in all things O2.

I'm seeing this the same way, they have had my business for broadband (excellent) and mobile (poor reception) for 5 years now but I'm beginning to feel it may be more valued elsewhere.

It was only the £5 a month discount that kept me tied to O2 and I'll be losing that with the sale to Sky.

I've sent off for a few sims to see if I can do better.

Well they've got me for the duration of my contract. Unless CS (when needed) start failing to produce results(bar credit team) ill stick it out if not I guess ill just buy out the contract and head elsewhere.

Hmmm boycotO2.co.uk isn't taken maybe I should snap it up quick haha:D

Whilst the hijack of this thread is fine - has anyone got an answer?  Just tried again and every single phone shown as free (and in the possibles list for me to upgrade) comes back with "no tariffs available".  It's pants

Go in store have a feel of the phones & ask your options

I don't want to go to the store as it is 20 miles away (and yes it is the nearest) - I would to use the website

I now know the issue - the current tariff is now 47p a month more expensive.  But if you try and update your tariff it doesn't give an option to then choose a phone.

Hopeless

That's quite the oversight on O2s behalf.

How did you come across that answer?

I think you need to choose the phone first in MyO2 and then choose an airtime deal.
