Hi all, I have a few contracts with o2 and been with them for years. My credit score has recently dropped and I even got declined with o2 for an extra device - I've never had any issues or missed payments with o2. 

 

But, I've heard that credit checks are not the same for upgrades? Do you think I could upgrade 2 of them if I pay off the contacts? Just don't want to make it any worse by getting declined again!

O2 do not credit check for upgrades.

Go through the upgrade process and pay off what you owe a checkout.

Don't pay them off first or they might be treated as new contracts and hence credit checked.
