So I upgraded to a unlimited sim only deal for my son as his device plan was all paid for..

But it's saying he has no data left?

Has it not updated yet or what?

The data levels are all over the place until the billing cycle changes, @Thatcher180 

There will be a levelling for the advance payment last month and reconciliation at next month's bill - and data levels may stabilise overnight.
