Right for clarity, though I do think the OP understands her options fully.
An existing contract customer who takes a 12m simo has the option to upgrade at any time, this is a free of charge fast track upgrade.
This can be done in an O2 store, this can also be done via CPW. There is no fee via either avenue.
You can upgrade any time for free with both normally. I only mentioned 3 months with CPW as they have recently had a system update which means they have to wait 3 months. However there is still no fee.
The only fee would be if the OP disconnected her contract mid term as per usual rules.
