Not if your keeping the same tariff.
Try text ACTIVE to 2020
And if required ring o2 on 202 to have your account checked and the iphone data removed.

Yes, you can do that, but you can't use the same number on both phones. If your partner is with O2, they need to put their sim in your new phone and set up the tariff for it. If they're not with O2, you need to get the phone unlocked before they will be able to use it with another network's sim.

This thread has gotten a little confusing. I think the OP has swapped sims. They would need to put the new sim into the old iPhone and sort the data out. The partner would need to put their own sim into the Xperia. At least that's how I think it should be. Have I got that wrong?
