Hi,

I've upgraded from iPhone 4s to Xperia Z1. I've been sent new sim but as they are both micro sim I've kept my old sim buy now I have lost Internet access even though it still shows 3g on my phone.
Does anyone know why this is and if I have to switch to my new sim?

Thanks

Yes, call 202 and ask them to switch you back to iData.
The system has automatically switched you to standard data.

Currently using:

Not if your keeping the same tariff.

Try text ACTIVE to 2020

And if required ring o2 on 202 to have your account checked and the iphone data removed.

I wanted to keep my iPhone and give my partner the new phone. Am I right in assuming I can't do that then?

Yes, you can do that, but you can't use the same number on both phones. If your partner is with O2, they need to put their sim in your new phone and set up the tariff for it. If they're not with O2, you need to get the phone unlocked before they will be able to use it with another network's sim.

You need to keep your sim in your phone and your partner needs to put their sim in the new phone.

This thread has gotten a little confusing. I think the OP has swapped sims. They would need to put the new sim into the old iPhone and sort the data out. The partner would need to put their own sim into the Xperia. At least that's how I think it should be. Have I got that wrong? Smiley Frustrated
