Hi I took out 2 sim only sims in may I was told as long as I pay may and June instalments on time I can upgrade in July on the day I pay my bill to both contracts being phone contracts no credit check just based on the fact I have paid on time. I know it’s a month early but Iv just went on my o2 account it’s telling me I can upgrade to another sim but can’t upgrade to a phone for another 4months this wasn’t what I agreed to.. anyone had this problem and still managed to get there phone on the 3rd month?

Hi, Lauren,

My best advice is to give O2 customer services a ring on 0800 587 4005 and discuss this with them, they will be able to advise you as to what your options are. I hope this helps.

If your a new customer when you took out SIM only contracts, it is 6 months before you can change it to a phone contract.
