call customer services to let them know you have your new handset and they can make it live.

Yeh sim is in and all charged up, literally just waiting for service to swap to new phone. Think I'll call customer services as the previous customer advices. Thanks

You need to keep switching the phone off and on till you get network coverage too.

If you are using a new sim you need to do the sim swap but if your old sim is the same size you can just put it in the new phone and carry on as usual.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
