My contract will allow me to upgrade on 24th December and I've seen a really good upgrade deal with O2 through mobile phones direct and was wanting to know how easy it would be to pay off my contract early and take out the new one now as think this is a limited time deal?

Yes you certainly can

I think you possibly misunderstood or the third party made an error

Yes you can @Swatts

Just not now as it can't be an upgrade due to your current contract not being complete yet.

@Swatts

Just so you are aware that there is no guarantee that o2 will allow you to have a second line, and the only way is to try and see what happens, and don't cancel the other line till you have the new phone in your hand and active.
- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK
