I’m due an upgrade and want to stay with o2 and keep my number but I’ve found a better deal offering airpods and Cashback on o2 from a different supplier is it possible to get my number transferred to the new contract when it’s with 02 already?

Yes you can.

Just get your new contract first then call customer service to migrate your number.

Your old contract will then end at the point your number migrates.
