So I’m thinking of upgrading had an iPhone 7 for like 4 years now and have been put off upgrading because of the high prices.
So I’m thinking iPhone 11 but I currently have a good deal with virgin on a sim only deal which is unlimited everything so would I be able to upgrade to an 11 and then use my virgin sim or are phones locked to the network they were purchased off
Thanks ste.

O2 do not lock their phones anymore but your upgrade would come with an O2 tariff which you'll have to pay for unless you buy the phone outright.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

@Ste

An unlocked phone will always be unlocked, regardless of what sim is used so it's OK to swap between your Virgin and O2 sim cards.
