Hi, it says on my mobile O2 app that if I upgrade my device today that O2 will pay the remaining device balance (mine is £36) but when I click upgrade it tells me I have to pay the £36 in order to upgrade? How does this work, any help please

Does the new phone and tarrif you've selected add up to £36, @AnnaOcc96 ?

 

Bear in mind you'll be moving to Refresh if you accept, with a Device Plan and an Airtime Plan, adding both together to get your monthly total payment.
