Upgrade to sim only

Hi I’m due an upgrade . I’m going to go for a 12 month sim only and have iPhone 8. If I sign up for this do I keep the sim I have or will I need a new one?

The tariff will change on your account. You carry on using the same sim.

@Jobaldwin23 If the phone you're getting is 5G capable you will eventually have to get a new sim, but sim swaps are causing problems during this crisis, so use your old sim for now as @Cleoriff has suggested. When O2 stores reopen you'll be able to go in and have them do it for you.

Edit: My bad. Just saw that the OP is keeping the same phone.
