Want to keep my phone and go onto sim only contract with O2. I had a text about upgrading early as got my phone via now defunct Carphone Warehouse. Is this possible?

Yes it is. Just go into My O2 and choose Upgrade option.https://www.o2.co.uk/myo2

O2 are offering some customers a free upgrade so I'd hang on to see if you get the offer.
