Upgrade order issue

Hi
I understand these are trying times. I really do.

Yesterday afternoon I made an upgrade order and paid off £105 from my current device.

MyO2 said S20 plus 5g was in stock and Next day delivery if ordered before 12pm.

Had all the emails for the order and a confirmation pdf.

No updates on order since then either by email or text and still says processing on my account.

Any idea when I can expect it as clearly won't be today as promised on the website and order.

I feel it is very misleading to state next day delivery if this can't/won't be met plus I am down £105.

Been a loyal O2 customer for multiple years but this doesn't sit right with me.

Totally agree with your annoyance. Problem is O2's stock system isn't live, so In stock means nothing unfortunately.

You can call customer services if you want to find out about your order. There are numerous numbers in this guide to try Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

You will get an email when O2 are ready to ship your order and then you can track it here

I got the same ****** slight_smile in order...I get all confirmation

.. payment the same . Confirmation the same, and last one, bad one!!!

Order out of stock!!!!! I think coronavirus cannot be motivation for this action of O2 team... With the same problem I think I am not first and not last who catch this unbelievable joke from O2

Just remember a lot of stock comes from China. As there has been a lockdown there for a very long time and factories aren't working, you really can NOT blame O2 for this.

What you can blame them for, is showing items are in stock when they clearly aren't. Until O2 develop a true live stock ordering system, this will continue to happen.

You know why I do it... Beacouse that is O2 responsibility to let customer know that the item is not available , for simple example, or I got a mistake?

Which is what I said earlier. A real time ordering system is what we have been requesting for an extremely long time.

So had a text from O2 this afternoon saying thanks for staying with us and an order number.
Then an email saying O2 had received my order and would update by text/email with its progress.

But nothing yet to say has been dispatched.

Once you get an email to say it's dispatched, then it will be on it's way.
