Hi I've been told I can upgrade early as they will pay my remaining contract off as part of an offer, I usually get my upgrades from mobiles uk but stay with O2

Can I get my new phone  with a new O2 2 year contract extension from mobilesuk?

Thanks for any help

I'd be inclined to believe that, so there's your answer.
I can't actually see any other outcome realistically.

That's surprising but good news. It's nice to see there are get out clauses which save you a shed load of money. I wonder how many customers will now use this to their advantage having read this. Do keep us updated whatever you do.

It only works if you are offered an early upgrade though, which isn't something everyone will have available to them.

So I believe this worked.

I ordered the upgrade with a P20 to see, but it was indeed way too large for me so I decided to keep my iPhone SE until I see whether Apple release a new small phone. Sent the phone back, rang up to confirm they'd received it, and requested my PAC code.

My number has now moved over to a BT Family sim giving me 3GB of data, unlimited minutes and texts for £8 a month. The guy I spoke to to get my PAC said there was no chance O2 could get anywhere near that. Awaiting my final bill from O2 but all it says for recent charges is 8p for a text.

I would've stayed with O2 if they were barely competitive (was looking at a nearly new iPhone 7), but they just aren't at all compared to buying outright, or even other providers.
