Has anyone else had someone from o2 call them, with all your details, then the next thing you know a new iphone is enroute and you are receiving text messages about a direct payment?
This happened to me yesterday, now I cannot stop the delivery, o2 have to do it and had to block my bank cards and accounts
o2 email says we know how its from o2 as the top of the email will include the last 4 digits of the phone number, all the emails I received did have the correct digits
Just interested how this all works, do they try to intercept the phone delivery, do they try to get you to click a link and enter bank details??

It's a well known scam.
The wrong phone will arrive and the scammers will ask you to return it to them at a bogus O2 address.
They then have your phone and you're paying for it.
You need to report it as fraud to O2 and also https://www.actionfraud.police.uk/
