Upgrade Help

Hello,

I've been looking to upgrade the past few weeks, due to my contract being up in July. Was looking around for an iPhone 6 at first but noticed they were all very overpriced compared to what I had been paying.

I managed to find a decent one for the same tarrif i'm on, on the carphone warhouse website. That said i was elligible to upgrade so i went ahead and done so. I wasn't charged anything, handset was free etc.

Now i'm slightly confused whether that has sorted the upgrade out itself, or do you think I'll have to pay my contract up first on the o2 website before using the phone?

I don't mind paying the contract off, but don't wanna be stuck paying two bills at the same time.

I've tried getting in touch with o2 for ages regarding this, but it's impossible getting a response.

You need to check this out. If nothing has been done about your O2 contract then you will be paying for two as you fear. Use this link to contact them and settle payment . If you want to keep your number then you could also ask for your PAC code

What is it showing in My O2?

It's possible you now have 2 contracts running so you need to check and if necessary call 202.

Did your number transfer across to the new phone you got from CPW?
They do, in some cases, pay the early upgrade fees in order to get customers to sign up, but this is usually made clear at the time of ordering.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
