Unwanted calls after upgrading my contract

Hi guys, as it says in the subject I recently (last Friday) upgraded my contract to a new phone but kept the same phone number as before. From Saturday until today (Tuesday) I have received around 30 calls from different number from all around the world. I have not registered my phone number at any websites. Has anyone else got this problem as well or is it just me? If anyone could help me that would be great. Thanks!!

Lots of reports on here of the same issue @Bart3.
Just ignore them and they will stop (eventually).
If you feel you must, then you can ask for one number change per year from o2. But to get it you will have to call customer services...
