Hi I am writing to complain about my contract I get 900 mins unlimited texts and a 500MB Internet bolt on totalling £42, this is for an iPhone4 8GB. For this price other companies do so much better, eg three do 1000Mins 5000 Texts and unlimited Internet for £40. Even ,y iPhone 5 contract is better than this for the same price from Vodafone. Is there anyway mine can be made to be more reasonable? I understand it's a older contract but my Vodafone contract from two years ago wad an iPhone 4 16GB and had better mind and net than this for £40.

Problem is you agreed to a contract that was ok when you took it out last year, companies will always aim to provide a better deal than a competitor. You definitely won't find any movement on the contract whether to reduce the payment or up the minutes/internet - the cost would have been set against the handset provided and lets face it iphones aren't exactly cheap!! If you had a Vodafone contract with a better phone and better tarrif etc and you've had that for 2 years, why didn't you take out a second contract with them for your sister? Often mobile providers will be happier to provide a second line against an already established account. Just wondering about the latter tbh.

Thanks for the reply VickieF i never thought about that at the time to be honest it was abit of a rush to get her a phone as her last contract had ended. Thank you for the reply though was very definitive and helpful
had i gotten this from one of the others we wouldnt have a two page thread now
I will just wait another year and take out a new contract with a better provider.

The price is right for the contract that was chosen, just because you don't want to pay the reasonable amount doesn't mean you can get out of it, especially after a year when its a 2 year contract, next time read the small print, look at the tariffs carefully or go on simplicity or pay as you if you will choose a high end phone, you have to accept the reasonable cost

All you can do is ring O2 and ask if you can reduce it, but I doubt they can.

Give them a call, you don't ask you don't get.
