Unpaid bill due to woeful cust/servc

Having a problem with o2 also. £453 to be paid in 5 days or its getting passed to collectionsee.

Because I withheld payment until I got an apology for terrible treatment. Either a written apology or discount. 3 calls (which got dropped o2 end) 2 live chats (also dropped) and numerous emails that went unanswered.(about 15). So the only answer I think is open another contract with a rival, declare bankruptcy, then there's not much o2 can do.
Though, I want to pay the bill, but I want some form of admittance that their cust/service staff were abysmal. In writing. But I have been told it's not company policy in either case. So, if o2 has someone that would like to try to resolve this, please be my guest. But, I'm not going to be ignored, and carry on paying for service that is not up to standard, as if nothing has happened.
Thanks

Then taking out a contract with a rival with half decent 'customer service' then declaring bankruptcy?

As I said... there are ways and means. If o2 o2 had been a little sympathetic to the customer, they would not have lost out any money. Now, well... the ball is in their court. Though being given a big company is apparently all it takes to grow a little arrogance

I hope you get this resolved to your expected satisfaction Carl and maybe @Martin-O2 can feed it back directly.

Another thing to try is searching Google for CEO O2 and send his office an email.

O2 used to pride themselves for their customer service so perhaps Mark Evans will be interested in the service you have received?

It's a shame when a problem arises where no one is prepared to give and take. Of course we only know of one side of this but as long as you have gone into all this with  a calm and polite attitude then hopefully the situation is not a total loss..

Good luck and do let us know what happens @Anonymous

If you go bankrupt, won't the new provider shut your account down anyway. Your unable to have any form of credit for at least 12 months. This kind of statement really get on my goat, because folk who genuinely can't pay debts due to a life event such as job loss or divorce are seen as cheap skates and con-artists because of the large number of folk who simply throw they teddies out the pram and refuse to pay and think bankruptcy is not a big issue.
