Unlocking my phone

Can somebody help me to unlock my phone i am coming to the end of my contract this month and unsure what i want next i have emailed 02 4 times regarding unlocking my phone and 4 times they have said that they cannot do it for reasons unknown to me is there anything else I can do i have phoned them twice and an adviser said that they would be in touch get email back saying can't do it can someone advise me what to do next

Also if they have by some unfortunate event given you a locked phone then it is their responsibility to unlock not the network as it's not a device from them so would not have the unlock code to give you.

If you really did buy it from CPW it isn't locked.
What message are you getting when you try another sim card?

Bit of an echo. The phone is definitely unlocked if bought from cpw. What sim card are you trying? It may be quicker using a local phone shop/market stall if it's asking for an unlock code.

Tried everything everbody has said cow say the phone is not locked until you put a sim card in which is the O2 one i put in been in touch with 02 last Saturday morning and adviser said she would fill a form in for me unfortunately I'm still waiting

CPW phones are sold unlocked. Now if you are having problems withh yours, I suggest you take a trip back to your nearest CPW and ask them to sort it out.

There is obviously something wrong somewhere.

I bought a phone from CPW for my grandson. He is on EE, we tried his sim and mine (O2) in, and they both worked.  CPW are the only people who can sort this for you.

As said at the beginning. What message is displayed with a non o2 sim in it?
