Hi,
I have a really old Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini (GT-i9195) that used to belong to my father.
The contact was paid up years ago now, as he is using my old phone now.
I wish to use this old phone with a different sim from a different provider but was displeased to find it is locked to O2.
I have attempted to unlock this using the form that can be submitted, but my father is missing some key information for his account to get this done.
He hasn't used this phone for years, it's been paid off for years, he hasn't got his account details, and I just want the device unlocked so I can put a new sim in it.
This should not be this difficult, especially as it is now illegal to lock devices to providers as per change in law in 2018. Please can anyone assist with unlocking this device so I can use a different sim?

You can use any O2 SIM to register the phone back on the network or worst case, get a free PAYG sim Guide: Unlocking an O2 phone to use a different SIM card
