I have a monthly contract with 02 and have been a loyal customer of theirs for a few years now (my partner is the main account holder). I had a Nokia Asha 300 with them and recently was given an HTC One, so I gave my dad my Nokia. I am on 02 and my dad is on Orange, and he wants to remain with Orange. I rang 02 and asked to have the handset unlocked...they told me it was all done and would take 7 days max, and that I would receive an email with the unlocking code. 14 days later, nothing had happened. I went in to the shop - totally unhelpful customer service - and I came away none the wiser as to why the phone was still locked. I rang 02 again and they said they were sorry and they would send the request again. It is now over 2 weeks and still the phone is locked. What is the problem here?
