Unlimited data Bolt on.. >200megs?

Hi you folks,
Is it true that the unlimited bolt on for monthly pay, is no longer a max of 200megs a month.

I dont know.

But dont you think its a bloody great farce that unlimted means less than 200mb Smiley Indifferent ....unlimited to me means there is no limit.

This has been brought up many many times on the forum.

The 200mb usage was removed in feb 2008 and replaced with a excesive usage policy.

As long as you dont abuse it, use it for peer to peer or even modem usage then you will be fine.

sorry bit off topic but you mentioned modem useage....if i had the wifi bolt on you think it would be possible to use the phone as a modem but use the wifi?

Modem usage is allowed, it's just subject to certain restrictions - no P2P/file sharing (though hopefully they would allow valid P2P synchronisation platforms like Foldershare/Live Mesh etc), no streaming audio/video - basically nothing which could put a strain on the system. Doesn't really matter where your data originates from (phone or computer), it's the level of usage that matters.
