Hi all - I recently switched to unlimited data tarrif, thinking it would also give me unlimited data in the European Zone. It looks like in fact with fair usage I can only use 25GB outside the UK in a given month (in the rather small print). Could someone confirm this for me? Also: if that's the case, how can I check how much data I've used, as MyO2 only shows 'unlimited data' and not usage? Thanks! Clare

I have never had any issues using over 25GB roaming, in the EU, you might get issues if you start using TB's of data, then o2 will cut you off most probably.
Where have you seen the 25GB listed as the T&C's and the fair use policy dont mention a limit.

The only limits on roaming are days out of the country.

Yes you are corect that unlimited data tarifs are limited to 25gb when roaming.

You can reset the data counter on your phone to keep track of your usage.

Roaming and data usage within our Europe Zone

3.6. Where you use data within our Europe Zone then this will be subject to a fair usage cap of 25GB (“Europe Zone Allowance").

3.7. Once you have reached your Europe Zone Allowance you will still continue to be able to use your data in our Europe Zone which will be charged at £3.50/GB.

Thank you! How do you change the data counter on the phone? (No doubt obvious, but thought best to ask). Clare

Depends on phone but in the data section of your phone settings.

Could also use an app depending on which OS you are on.
3G Watchdog is a good one on Android - can set the refresh date and warning limits as you want/need.

That's native to Android now anyway.

Would be beneficial if was available to iPhone though.
