Unexplained charge on my bill

I added another mobile to my account on 24th Feb £30 tariff and have just received my first bill for £42.86 + vat with no extra charges . Can anyone explain please.

Your first bill is a combination of one month in advance plus the time before your first billing date on a pro rata basis.

Next month should be the normal tariff cost.
