Hi, I get an error message when trying to text my family in Denmark from the UK. Does anyone know how to fix this?
I tried to update the message centre number, but that was correct.
Any advice out there?

Text messages will be chargeable so a zero spend cap will prevent them from being sent.

You should also add 0045 at the beginning of the number and do not use the first zero of the Danish number.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Are you replying to a message or starting a new conversation?
Check the number is correct with the international code.
Also check if you can send international texts on your tariff - do you have some included, or are they an extra cost.
Do you have a spend cap - this might stop them going too.

Please note, this is not customer services and we cannot access your account. Do not publish personal details (email, phone number, bank account).

Are you texting a UK number in Denmark or a Danish number?

Thanks I thought Denmark was included in the free text service, that's why I choose them unless they have changed their rules!

It would be free if you were in Denmark, but not when you are in UK.
