Thanks, but something is interesting. Last time I also change the phone abroad, and the device details remain to be the old one until I go back to the UK, but this time the whole information is lost before I go back to the UK.

Is it bought in China as well and confirmed to be working?

I have an experience of bringing an international samsung phone to Korea and want to get a prepaid SIM but interestingly the staff told me that the phone cannot be registered on the network a few years ago(without actually inseting the SIM).

Yes, bought in China and working fine.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Yes. Bought on Amazon through a third party seller in Guangdong China.

Mine was straight from China and worked out of the box so as it's been confirmed that it will work on band 20 don't worry. My phone shows up in My O2 as unknown device though the IMEI and PUK shows.

That's strange jonsie - mine shows it by name....

It should be auto detect even on pay monthly tariffs. Now, I know "unknown device" can be registered on the O2 UK network.

Maybe because it's P&G and not linked with my monthly account?

Yeah, that's a possibility....
