Unable to share data

Help!  My wife's phone is visible on my O2 and O2 set it up so in theory we're on the same account.  My phone is set to share data but I can't share it.  When I've spoken to O2 customer services, they say my wife's phone is a different account and nothing can be done.  O2 set her phone up on my account and I can't change anything.  Seems to be something to do with the way O2 have set it up but no one knows.  Any ideas or suggestions?

Hi @Anonymous it sounds pretty annoying but only customer services can sort this for you ...Info on sharer plans here http://www.o2.co.uk/sharer-plans. If your accounts were set up to share data then you have to persevere with CS http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

You need a lead account which must be set when you start the contract and any subsequent contracts can then be added but you must specify this at the time.
It does seem from previous reports that this is not possible to do retrospectively.
