Unable to receive texts after sim swap

I just upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy S20 5G. I did the sim swap yesterday as previously had a 4G phone. I can now make and receive calls and send text messages but I am unable to receive any texts. Its been over 24 hours since the sim swap. My old sim card no longer detects a network. I cannot get through to O2 to ask for help. I've checked my message centre number is correct and even tried connecting to another network. I've also turned the phone on and off again multiple times. Nothing seems to be working Does anyone have any ideas?

There is a general O2 issue currently.

Please hang on until fixed.

Is anyone still having problems receiving texts after swapping a sim.card. No texts since swapping last Friday. When are O2 going to.sort this.

I have been hung up on countless times over the past week while being put on hold or passed through to another department.
I've also been promised two call backs after being told to restart the handset and surprise surprise, nothing.
