Unable to get SMS from bank abroad

Hi there, I'm trying to login to my Greek bank account and in order to do that they send me a code via SMS. I used to be able to receive the code without a probelm but have stopped receiving them lately. I checked with my Greek bank and the messages have been sent. The numbers they are coming from are 8000 8000 88 or +30 6942054789. I've checked my blocked numbers and they're not there. What could the problem be?

Are you using your phone's data/4g to connect with your bank, or WiFi only?

@melissof Might be a long shot, but can you get your bank in Greece to send you the text via WhatsApp?

@Bambino Hmm, it's an automatic message so not sure if that would be possible. I'll ask them though!

Does your bank have a banking app, perchance, @melissof?

@pgn They do but they still send an SMS for verification.

Is the phone number they have on file for you correct? Worth checking also.

And your phone definitely has a good signal, to receive the SMS txt msg?

Are you receiving texts from elsewhere?

@pgn Yes, I've received messages from them in the past. Gave them a ring and they definitely have the correct number. No problem receiving texts from other contacts.
