Hi,

Struggling to figure out why its not letting me phone the USA.

Have removed all call barring, and requested via the helpdesk to check and remove any barring set up. I've checked all my settings, network defaults, etc. Googled for days to find an answer.

Not getting through to customer services, so at a complete loss now.

Today when i tried to call, the error message said " Server error, Try again later".  Previously it said to check call barring (which I did).

Any suggestions??

TIA, Julz, x

@Anony_Mouse_JT

Do you have a spend cap Guide: Spend caps on O2 ?

Are you dialling correctly? 001 then drop the first zero etc....?

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Hi @Anony_Mouse_JT

Have you checked you do not have a spend cap on the account, which is set up to stop additional charges including international Calls?

If you call 202 when it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 secends and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else

Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything else which will put you though to someone.

@Anony_Mouse_JT Save yourself some money and call either using Skype or WhatsApp. Both are free if the person you're calling has either of those apps too.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

I’m sure o2s partner in Tesco Mobile in their Tesco Calling App gets free calls to US, it even links to your mobile number so called ID/texts show as your mobile number on the other end, I think you still get £1 free if you download the app, which can use Wi-fi or dials a UK number that is inclusive to any price plan minutes you have slight_smile
