Hi guys,

Since I've had my replacement iPhone, the my device details section of MyO2 is showing as unavailable

I've had CS reset my account on their advice but it's made no difference, and I got cutoff before I accessed and found this.

So, the question is does anyone have experience of this happening? And if so what fixes it?

TIA.

I get the feeling it's no biggie.....

Haha.. I was on hold for over 35 minutes and then something came up.!

But I've just gotten through in less than 5 mins 😀 and they've raised a case with the admin team(?) Who will look into the issue and hopefully resolve it within 5 working days. Apparently they get in contact via text!

Can't say I've ever heard of this route with O2, do u guys know of this? @MI5 @jonsie @gmarkj

It's quite possible you'll get a text to say it's fixed - even if it isn't !

I think they will have to reset it for you, they may even give you different sign on details.

Guess we will just have to wait n see 😁 you never know I might get a pleasant surprise? I mean O2 screw up quite a bit, but they also do things properly too..!

We get to see the times when they make spectacular mistakes/awful CS experiences because ppl come here to vent, but there's many, many more ppl that are perfectly happy with the service they receive!

It is not actually a problem if you can register to O2's network correctly and can use phone calls, text and data.

I think unrecognized IMEI may be causing the issue. I had similar issue earlier this year when I changed to a Chinese phone.
