I'm on a on a monthly 60gb plan with a ZERO cap.
I'm going to the USA in March from here in the UK and will be using free wifi wherever possible as I don't want to pay £7 per day for the 13 nights.
I'm planning to use UBER as an alternative to a taxi to & from the hotel and believe they text you to confirm the booking & give details of the ride selected.
Will I be charged for the text and if so how much,as I believe it's about a £1 a text received ,& could say add five pounds to the Zero cap...
Thanks in advance

Uber send you an in app notification not an SMS, dont know when I last got an SMS from Uber.. But it does require in the allowed settings
Phone Call access so the driver can call you, and also data access for you to be able to track the uber.. and at the Airport they will call you, I had this when landing at JFK and Newark, and many other airports around the world.
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company
