If your current sim is still working you may not need to perform a sim swap anyway,
However I would log into my o2 and make sure that the upgrade has gone through ok and as an upgrade.
If you have any further concerns, call customer services on 202 and select upgrades to discuss the recent transaction.

If you do need a new sim as the old may have deactivated, pop into an O2 shop and get the guys there to perform a sim swap there and then.

When they send out nano sins which is normal
Practice they also should send SIM card adapters to make the nano sim the right size to fit other phones.

You can transfer your tariff and mobile number to the nano sim via http://swapmysim.o2.co.uk

You may want to do this anyway if your sim is an older non 4G type. It should say 4G on it.

True but it doesn't harm to be future proofed for when and if the op upgrades / changes handset does it.

Sounds like you ordered the wrong sim size, an S2 needs a micro sim not a nano sim 🐵

I believe the S2 was the last to actually take the standard sim size,
However as most networks by then had adopted the combi sim format the micro sim pack could still be used as long as the micro sim part hadn't been separated.
To reiterate, the Galaxy S2 used the Standard Sim size. Not micro or nano.
