I'm trying to get my number to transfer from one Pay Monthly contract to another but whenever I use the keepmynumber form, it just times out and gives me no indiciation that it's actually worked, is there anything else I can do to keep my old number?

You need to call customer service I'm afraid. Early morning is the best time. I would speak to them rather than use live chat.

There is a problem with the site. I have just tried the Keep my number link on this thread http://www.o2.co.uk/help/phones-and-devices/how-to-keep-your-mobile-number and it took ages to connect and then said "Sorry our site is very popular at the moment".
You could try again later or in the morning. If still having problems then contact CS

O2 might also want the any early termination fees upfront before offering your pac
