Hi
I'm due an upgrade but can't afford one of the new phones - the Nokia 920 refurb caught my eye and I fancied that. (£14 pm and £60 to pay)
If I go via the plain Shop online it is in stock and I can buy it but if I go via my Upgrade options, it's there but out of stock??? This implies a new customer could buy it but a loyal (some 30 years!!) customer can not?? Maybe it's just a web glitch. Now it's September, maybe there'll be more refurbs around?
If I do go via the Shop will I end up with 2 tariffs to pay for??
Customer services useless - it takes 20 mins before I get passed on to the upgrades team and they only deal with new phones! Can anyone help out?
Viv

That link goes to O2 Rewards for some reason jonsie!
Here's the press announcement from 2007:

OK
Thanks for the links.
It's called fair deal.
I'll look into it.
It's a mute point now as I have returned the phone - it couldn't pick up the O2 signal where I live in or outdoors! I can phone from indoors on all our other O2 phones. So, great phone and all that but fails to do its basic job - be a phone!!
I'm going to visit a store to check on phones in future.

It sounds like a faulty phone, always a risk with a refurb.
The stores don't keep refurbs they're online only.

Some phones do hang onto signal better than others.
I alwys advocate going to the high street shops to play with working demo models to get a handle on their os and UI.
Hope all goes ok from this point.
