I'm not doing a sim swap as this is a brand new sim and I have no old one to swap out from. The phone is brand new too. Was told I need to activate the new sim but can't get a code for the purpose. I tried several times to get one but even when the system tells me the code is on its way, I simply don't receive it. Help????

Hi @mogwai

Have you followed the advice here on how to activate your sim?

https://www.o2.co.uk/help/phones-sims-and-devices/activating-your-sim

As the info there points out, if you are new to O2 the sim is ready to use straightaway, so you pop it in your phone and you are good to go.

If you are an existing customer who has upgraded, and are looking for a code, you are attempting a sim swap.

If you are having problems you may need to ring customer services https://www.o2.co.uk/contactus  they open at 8am, or pop into your nearest O2 store and ask them to sort it out for you.
