Your bank is holding the payment in a shadow account as O2 won't have claimed it.
Your bank will return it to you in line with their policy on pending funds.

I'm in the same situation, instead it's with an upgrade. No contact from anyone despite them saying they'd get back to me in 24 hours. Awful, have 3 lines with O2 and never had an issue upgrading online etc always been seemless.
The merger with virgin has been a shambles. I won't be using them again once my contact is up.

already done that. Useless. Just told me the credit check Is still processing despite emailing me saying it would take 24 hours.
