Travelling to far east

I’m travelling to the Far East in February visiting Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. I’m being told that, in terms of using my phone out there, I’d be best buying a temporary international SIM that covers those countries. Once I put this SIM in my phone will I still be able to retain my existing mobile number?

No you can't use your number with a foreign sim.

Charges for using O2 can be found here Using Your Phone Abroad → O2 Travel Search Tool | O2

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
