Hello,

I wonder if anyone can answer whether my phone will work in Cuba, just as an emergency. I'll buy a card to use the Wifi but I'd like the option to know that my phone will work in case! Thank you.

Hi @becky390

It will but you will be paying International rates and won't get data

You best bet is to use WiFi wherever you can. Turn Voicemail off as you will be charged for receiving calls.
You might be better off with a local sim.

Thank you!

Do I need to 'unblock' my phone to be able to use it?

@becky390

If your phone was bought from O2 after June 2018. it wont be locked.

However I suggest you contact O2 to make sure you dont have a roaming bar in place. All numbers in this guide. Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

Guide to unlock here if needed Guide: Unlocking an O2 phone to use a different SIM card
