@Geo_2k

I'm not surprised. CS seem to know nothing these days or just guess at an answer.

If you find yourself without a signal or data when you get there, there are some things you can do.

1 - Reboot phone. (or toggle airplane mode).
2 - Manually search for a different network
3 - If using an iPhone, change data apn to "mobile.o2.co.uk"
4 - Turn off 5g and try 4g or turn off 4g and try 3g.
5 - Check data roaming is turned on.
6 - Check with O2 for any roaming bars.
If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this.

Yes of course you can.

It's Greece so well within the EU rules.

Take care with the 3G point above, @Geo_2k - Greece has pretty much dispensed with 3G, not that Crete was particularly well provisioned with 4G, as far as I can tell. This shows the 3 carriers via the dropdown at the top of the map:
