Hi, looking to upgrade my phone soon. We will be travelling to USA later in the year so I would like my upgrade to include the ability to make calls and use data in the USA without incurring the 4.99 per day charge. I can see I need the "O2 travel inclusive zone bolt on" for this and that you need a 30GB per month plan to get this included. However when I do a dummy order I cannot see this mentioned anywhere even though I have selected a 30GB plan. As an option I can add on "O2 International" bolt on for free but when I looked into this it didn't seem to be the same thing. Can anyone advise please?

Hi @bevaj99
I just think they aren't actually showing the O2 Travel Inclusive Bolt On. However, you are correct, you need a Plus Plan (if Sim only,) or anything over 30GB if purchasing a Refresh Contract.
The International Bolt On is simply for calling abroad when in the UK.
To ensure you DO get the O2Travel Inclusive Bolt On you need to contact the Sales Team on

Just a word of warning. Data is heavily throttled in the US and most people find they are better off if they use a local sim.
