Transferring number to o2

So basically, i ordered a pay monthly sim only and at the checkout requested to keep my old number from sky, my new sim arrived today but nothing has still happened? i tried applying for a number transfer again but it said it failed. does doing it at check out work? do i need to wait longer?

Yeah i got a pac with sky and entered it at the checkout when i ordered the sim on monday

You need to call O2 then choose any of the options, fraud etc
Everything is taking longer due to the lockdown. Call centres and social distancing means limited staff to handle all the queries. Patience needed I'm afraid.
