I've completed the form to port my mobile number three times now- nothing has happened. Tried to call O2 but received a message "we're having technical difficulties, call tomorrow". Starting to wish I hadn't requested this sim and stuck with my old provider. It suggests the process takes 24 hours, why then I am still here after a week with a new number and facing a payment on my old number too?!

You need to contact O2.

When you call, you will be asked for the reason you are calling.
Stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
You can also try saying "Upgrade" or "Fraud" to be connected to an advisor.
8.00am is the best time to call if you can.

Thanks, I've tried that several times and kep getting cut off. Customer service is none existent with O2, I had high hopes, but am really frustrated with them!
