Hello

 

I am currently on a simplicity PAYG tariff but my husband has bought me a new phone for Christmas and this he has bought not from O2 but from another online retailer. The deal comes with a 24 month monthly contract on O2. Although I know it is possible to transfer a number from PAYG to a monthly contract and I've read how I need to go about it (on the O2 website) but I'm sure I've read something about not being able to do the transfer if the new phone was bought elsewhere than from O2 or does it make no difference? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Makes no difference where the phone came from....
