Hi,

I am seeking to transfer my mobile number to a different network but still keeping my exiting o2 line.

Is it possible to transfer my number to the new network, and also obtain a new number from o2 thereby keeping the contract open?

Thanks,

No sorry.

The o2 account will end as soon as you move the number.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

That isn't possible sorry. As soon as you transfer your number the O2 contract will be terninated. That's just the way the O2 system handles a transfer.

@pwuk  To transfer your number to another network you will need a PAC. Be aware that as this ends your contract with O2 you are also still liable for any remaining months left on your current contract:
