Pick up a new sim at an O2 shop and ask them to transfer your balance across at the same time.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

If usually takes 24 hours to transfer the balance and you may need to call customer service.

You can get one here

https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/sim-cards and then you would need to do the sim swap to keep your number, It really is quicker popping instore

The OP doesn't want to keep her number. She wants a new one. If she can't get to an O2 store she needs to speak to Customer Service. http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

The OP was talking about transferring their balance, so an easy enough mistake to make @Cleoriff No harm, no foul.

I was a little confused by the first post as well. How do you block a number by bending the sim card? wink
