Transfer apps to sd card option unavailable..s exp m4

My Sony Xperia m4 is great but doesn't have option to move to sd card on many of my apps ...I keep running out of storage even tho I have 12 gb free on sd card ..please help

It was removed by Google on devices running Android 6 onwards, this is due to security.
Sony (and others) supported it for a while after but dropped it a few years back.
