Transfer a sim only account from my wife to me

Hi,

My wife has just taken out a monthly contract sim only and now needs to transfer the contract, the sim and the number to me.

Is this possible? How can I do it please?

If the sim only contract was taken out less then 14 days ago it can be cancelled under the change of mind policy

 

Can I return my sim only contract?

If you’ve taken out a sim only contract in store, over the phone or online, you can change your mind within 14 days of receiving your order. If you do want to cancel your agreement, contact us to let us know and we’ll get it sorted. We won’t ask you to return your sim, all you need to do is cut the sim in half once it’s stopped working.

Edited to add, you will then need to take out your own contract and pass credit checks etc.

Yes it is possible, but your wife will need to contact Customer Services, and you will need to pass credit checks and provide billing information.

To contact Customer Services

If you call 202, when it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else

Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
This is not customer services and we dont have access to your account

Transfer of ownership is only possible on business accounts @Barcud
